Hello! I’m Kate and I’ve always been fascinated by the natural world!

Teaching gives me a chance to share that fascination with my students and encourage them to make the world a better place using the intelligence of nature.  I’ve been a practicing teacher for over 20 years with a concentration in middle school science.  There is so much joy in engaging middle school kids in the science process, and I am grateful that I have a career that both challenges my mind and is also incredibly rewarding.

I decided to start selling resources online so that I could support new teachers or teachers who have recently changed grade levels or courses.

I know what it is like to be overwhelmed with planning and have leaned on downloadable materials to save my sanity.  Every teacher wants to have that awesome lesson, worksheet or lab but it is IMPOSSIBLE to do it all by yourself!  Online downloads make bringing engaging lessons to the classroom a lot more achievable and in the end more students benefit.  

I love being part of this profession and having the opportunity to teach in my classroom all day and also share resources online with teachers like you.

I love reviewing NGSS standards with Doodle Notes! After trying different things, I decided that using these to review at the end of a unit has been most productive.
This resource helps my kids engage with content in a new way. They love the artistic aspect of these doodles and it helps them to retain the information.
